Informal meeting at the European youth event EYE  

The meeting took place from June 9 to 10 in Strasbourg, in parallel with the European Youth Event under two separate projects: Invert'R on youth participation and the Vet 4 Change project, on the exchange of practices. on alternation.  

Young people from the MFRs of Mondy, Anneyron (26), Saint-Dié-des-Vosges (88), La Réunion (974), Vertus and Gionges (51) met again after the last event which took place in Sweden at the European Youth Conference.  

During a meeting at the Icelandic Embassy at the Council of Europe, a group of committed young people explained their active participation in the side event at the European Youth Conference in Växjö and the underlying reasons for their involvement. They shared their contribution to initiatives in favor of education and the environment underlining their desire to change things for the better within their territory and as soon as they return to the MFR. 

During this discussion, they highlighted the importance of involving young people in associations. They underlined that getting involved in associative projects allows not only to develop personally, but also to create a positive impact on society. According to them, young people must above all put their energy and ideas to use in concrete actions, because this is where the real difference lies for a better future.
