AlimenTerre x Erasmus+: a winning combination in Drôme

The MFR of Baronnies organizes the screening of two hard-hitting films among the
9 selected by the AlimenTerre festival, in partnership with the cinema “ The Reg'Art » and welcome 65 young learners from their establishment and two other MFRs in Drôme (mondy & Châteauneuf-sur-Isère).

The first film chosen by the young people of the MFR of Buis is “ Raid on the Atlantic » – 2023. This is also the film broadcast during the World of MFR day.

It addresses issues related to foreign overfishing in Senegal, and the migration of populations that this causes.

This screening will be followed by a debate with the collective "Buis accueil réfugiés". They will present their association, their role, their actions in the territory in favor of migrants. In addition, a young migrant who recently settled in Buis and who has set up his barber business, will give his testimony.


The second film, chosen by the young people of the MFR of Mondy, is “ The Boxer Theory"

It addresses issues related to climate change and drought, specifically in the Drôme Valley. This film relates a survey of organic and conventional farmers for whom the time for adaptation has already begun, while questioning the food resilience of our territories.

This screening will be followed by a world café hosted by Olivier Legaie, Maïna Brus
and Fiona Médard, MFR trainers, Education aux Mondes referents
and to Others.
