Euroskills 2025: Lou-Ann Pierre, a former student of MFR Le Village, awarded a medal of Excellence

The French Trades Team has just achieved a historic performance in the European finals WorldSkills (Euroskills), organized in Denmark: it became for the first time European Trades Champion.

At the heart of this great success, one name particularly resonates for us: Lou-Ann Pierre, former student of the MFR The Village, who obtained her MELEC professional baccalaureate a few years ago. Engaged in the category Electrical Installation, Lou-Ann distinguished herself by winning a Medal of Excellence, rewarding his talent and professional standards.

The strength of a team, the energy of a collective

Beyond the medals and technical performances, this edition of Euroskills has above all highlighted the cohesion and humanity that drive the French Team. As Florence Poivey, President of WorldSkills France, pointed out, the victory was fueled by this fraternity that is visible at every moment: "Seeing each and every one of us take care to support their teammate, celebrating victory together and supporting each other in defeat, is a splendid lesson in humility and respect."

Lou-Ann upheld these values of solidarity and mutual aid, as did all of her teammates. Their success goes beyond the scope of a competition: it shows that the most advanced technical skills flourish fully when they are supported by a collective force.

A shared pride

For the MFR Le Village, seeing one of its former students shine on the European stage is a source of immense pride. Lou-Ann embodies the success of these training programs, where you learn a trade, but also forge human values. Through her career and her distinction, she sends a powerful message to young people in training: dare to believe in your talent, work rigorously and above all move forward together.
