From dream to action, from sensitivity to commitment: the Youth Festival, supported by the Drôme-Ardèche MFR Federation, is shaking up traditional formats and giving impetus to young people in search of meaning.
The Youth Festival isn't just another event. It's a vibrant space, co-designed by young people themselves, to allow them to reconnect with their emotions, their power to act, and the transitions underway in their communities. Led by the Fédération des MFR Drôme-Ardèche, it creates the conditions for a joyful encounter between personal aspirations, collective challenges, and local initiatives. In a world that moves fast, sometimes too fast, this festival takes the time to stop, feel, reflect, create, and above all... get involved.
After a first edition in 2024 on the theme “Building Hope”, which brought together 160 young people and 13 local structures, the adventure continues in 2025 with a new lease of life: "The marvelous in everyday life." A theme that invites us to change our perspective, to value what is already there, to identify the seeds of change already sown — and to dream together, without waiting for permission to do so. Because yes, the marvelous exists, here and now, in the forests we walk, the ideas we share, the actions we carry out together. The Youth Festival is also a cocktail of sensory and collective experiences, built around three essential axes:
- My emotions towards the world
- My connection to the living
- And then… we take action!
On the menu : forest bathing, philosophy workshops, improvisational theater, debates, nature film screenings, cooking workshops, meetings with local initiative leaders, and even a radio show hosted by young people themselves. All in an atmosphere that combines curiosity, kindness and creativity.
A close-knit local ecosystem
The festival would be nothing without the commitment of a network of passionate and complementary stakeholders. It is co-sponsored by:
- MFR Drôme-Ardèche Federation
- Transition Laboratory
- Biovalley
- Let's dare Here and Now
- The Archipelago
With the support of the Erasmus+ program, these organizations are working together to offer young people a framework for exploration, dialogue, and action around the major ecological and social issues of our time.
Right here, Young people are not spectators: they are the driving force. They participate in the steering committee, are festival ambassadors, workshop co-facilitators, and, above all, content creators. Radio capsules produced by Magali Grez, and broadcast on RadioThere, are already documenting the behind-the-scenes of the project. Another sensitive and committed way of making the voice of these young people who are taking action heard.

More than an event, the Youth Festival is a declaration of intent: the belief that young people, when listened to, equipped, and supported, become the best architects of a fairer, kinder, and more vibrant world. So yes, the wonder is there, and it's contagious.
