The MFR of Orléanais, new Ambassador School of the European Parliament

Great news for the MFR of Orléans : its application was accepted and the establishment is now part of the prestigious network of Ambassador Schools of the European ParliamentThis recognition highlights both the dynamism of the family home and its commitment to offering young people an opening to the world and to Europe.

This program, implemented by the European Parliament, aims to bring European institutions closer to youth. Concretely, it invites certified establishments to make experience Europe on a daily basis : create projects, organize debates, implement civic actions and give students the keys to understanding the essential role of Parliament in European democracy. Through this approach, young people become true ambassadors: they inform themselves, transmit, and commit to embodying the values of the Union.

For the MFR de l'Orléanais, this label opens up exciting new perspectives. The school will be able to develop projects supported by the Parliament, benefit from funding to enrich its educational initiatives, and participate in trips to emblematic places of European democratic life. Projects are already underway, such as a visit to the Parliament of Strasbourg and a meeting between European high schools in Luxembourg City.

Beyond the label, it is a wonderful human and civic adventure that awaits our students: discovering Europe from the inside, exchanging with other young people from all over the Union, and understanding that European citizenship is built on a daily basis, through their ideas, their commitments and their actions.
