Council of Europe recommendations

The November meetings in Brussels end with the publication of recommendations of the Council of Europe "Education, youth, culture and sport"

We are particularly interested in the Council conclusions on the preservation and creation of civic spaces for young people facilitating effective youth participation - heart of the Reuf project!

We draw your attention to point 27 of the report which echoes the exchanges of young people during the meeting in Brussels:

“Facilitate access to information in accessible formats and, where appropriate, in youth-friendly language and in accordance with the“ European Youth Information Charter ”16, in order to promote transparency and increase confidence of young people in political institutions while putting in place adequate measures, in particular by promoting media education to fight against infox, disinformation and propaganda, societal polarization, hate speech, conspiracy theories, cyberbullying and cyber-harassment, etc. "
