Carried by the Regional Federation of Rural Family Homes of Occitanie, the project PDC (Consortium Management) Since November 2024, it has brought together a consortium of five European partners committed to a common mission: to design a digital toolkit to simplify and optimize the management of Erasmus+ consortia. Funded under the Erasmus+ program (Key Action 220 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices), PDC aims to to enhance the effectiveness of transnational mobilitywhile making the processes more accessible, sustainable and inclusive.
The PDC project draws on the complementary expertise of five actors involved in education, training and European cooperation:
- In France, the Regional Federation Rural Family Homes of Occitanie pilots the project, bringing his experience in consortium management and work-study training, as well as his territorial roots in rural areas.
- In Spain, the Government of Navarre (Department of Education) and Ministry of EducationCulture and Sport contribute to the institutional dimension of the project, in line with national and regional educational policies. Their involvement guarantees a systematic approach, incorporating the challenges of vocational training and European mobility.
- In Ireland, a partner specializing indigital innovation and training brings its expertise in digital tools and collaborative management, essential for developing accessible and transferable resources.
- In Portugal, one actor complements this consortium by emphasizing the sustainability of projects and the inclusion of audiences far removed from European opportunities, thus strengthening the social and territorial dimension of PDC.
The funding will allow us to:
- Developing innovative digital tools, such as the PDC Guide and the "Digital Upskilling" tutorials, designed to be freely accessible and multilingual.
- Organize transnational workshops to co-create and test deliverables, such as those held in Dublin (2024), Pamplona (2025) or Toulouse (2025).
- Ensuring the sustainability of the project by preparing a wide dissemination of the results, particularly at the final conference scheduled for September 2026.
This financial framework underscores PDC's ambition: to sustainably transform consortium management practices, based on European collaboration and a user-centered approach. PDC deliverables are designed to address concrete needs identified by stakeholders on the ground.
- The PDC Guide offers clear processes for managing consortia, from financial management to strategic evaluation, including internal communication and external visibility.
- The "Digital Upskilling" tutorials They support teams in the use of digital tools (cloud, video conferencing, electronic signature), for smoother and more collaborative management.
These resources, tested and adjusted during transnational workshops, will be available in four languages and freely accessible on the project siteTheir modular and transferable design allows for use far beyond Erasmus+ consortia, particularly in the fields of vocational training, education or youth.
Following a pre-testing and adjustment phase conducted in 2025 and 2026, the partners will finalize the deliverables at the meeting in Braga, Portugal (May 2026). The closing conference, scheduled for September 2026 in France, will mark the official launch of the dissemination of the PDC tools, with a particular focus on their usefulness for rural areas and small organizations.
